What is a ROCKET LAUNCH ?
There are several organized rocketry launches in southern Michigan each year. These are wellorganized events that are open to club members and to the GENERAL PUBLIC. If you have anyinterest in model and high power rocketry you should check out one of these events. In most casesyou can even bring your rockets to fly.
Model rocket kits are launched and recovered and set aloft over and over again. Some kits are assmall as your finger and some are large enough to be full scale of real rockets. These kits can reach altitudes from several hundred feet to well over one MILE high ! See our Rocketry web page for more info !
