Story By Dave Champion:Steve, attached are pictures of my "Wolverine" rockets' first flight. This was my first "high power" rocket.With your patience and expert advise, as you can see from the pics, the flight was a complete success. This is a scratch built rocket of my own design. It comes in, w/o engine, at 24oz., 50" tall and was built with LOC 2.56" dia tubing. The unique part, as can be seen, is the double transition in the airframe size which was accomplished by turning two pieces of hemlock on a lathe. Flying on a Aerotech F50-6 I could go on and on but as they say, "A picture is worth a thousand words" Thanks agian... Dave Champion    |
